AfA's Community Leaders Peace Initiative (CLPI) is a training event aimed at responding to the urgent need for creative and participatory approaches to the resolution of intra-state conflict by promoting respect for human rights, governance and citizen-based third party mediation. It forms part of AfA's training and capacity building programme. Amongst others, the programme aims to enable and strengthen the capacity of women's organisations to effectively contribute to peace-building processes within the West Africa sub-region.
